An Undated (probably 1939) Re-Release (re-titled "Let's Pretend We're Sweethearts" for this re-release) Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41") (Learn More)

In Paris, A.W.O.L., the 1936 Roland Reed post-World War I (WWI) romantic love triangle military comedy ("Adapted from the A.E.F. Overseas Review - 'Comme Ca'") starring Lola Lane, Irene Ware, Lawrence Gray, Chic Chandler, George Meeker, Sam Lee, and Al Shaw. This movie has an unusual history! It was filmed in 1936 by the American Legion, and was only shown in select theaters at that time (it was apparently not very successful at all). In 1939, after Lola Lane had her breakout role in Marked Woman, and had appeared with her sisters in Four Daughters and became a major star, this movie received a full scale release as "Let's Pretend We're Sweethearts" and in 1940 as "They Went to War", and Lola Lane was prominently billed and pictured on the posters, no doubt hoping to trick people onto thinking this was a brand new Lola Lane movie.

Important Added Info: This poster was tri-folded only (which means there is no vertical machine fold) but because it would be more expensive to send flat, it will be sent rolled in a tube.
