Mickey's Stampede, the 1931 Albert Herman football sports comedy short starring Mickey Rooney (billed as Mickey McGuire). Note that this is one of 50 "Mickey McGuire" shorts that Mickey Rooney starred in between 1927 and 1933 (he started when he was only six years old!). After 1933, he had a brief "lull" in his career, but he soon resurfaced as a top teen actor, and it was not long before he moved to the top of the box office in his roles in MGM movies, both in the Andy Hardy series, and in musicals with Judy Garland.
