Doctor Monica, the 1934 William Keighley female medical doctor infidelity marriage romantic love triangle pregnancy melodrama (based on the play by Maria Morozowicz-Szczepkowska; about a husband who cheats on his obstetrician wife with her friend, and she is put in the extremely uncomfortable position of delivering a baby for her friend that was fathered by her husband!) starring Kay Francis (in the title role as Dr. Monica Brayden), Jean Muir, Warren William, Verree Teasdale, and Emma Dunn

Important Added Info: Note that we previously auctioned seven lobby cards from this movie, but we have never auctioned THIS card, which has a great close up of Kay Francis confronting her husband's pregnant mistress! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: good. There are tack holes, stains, and smudges around the edges, with some stains scattered in the image background, but none in the stars' faces. Please look at our super-sized images to get a good sense of the exact condition of this card before placing a bid. This is the sort of card that responds really well to professional restoration. It is likely that much or all of the smudges and stains can be removed through chemical means, and after proper restoration, the card will look fantastic. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
