Seitz romantic juvenile amateur-detectives murder mystery crime thriller ("The Season's Most Unusual Dramatic and Romantic Mystery!"; about the son of a gambler who is arrested for murder, and he and his teenage friends get together to clear the boy's father, because the police can't, and one of the kids is pretty Bonita Granville, the only female in the group) starring Jackie Cooper, Bonita Granville, Gene Reynolds, Gail Patrick, Ian Hunter, June Preisser, Leo Gorcey (in a rare non-Bowery Boys/Dead End Kids role!), William Tracy, and El Brendel. Note that there is an unusual plot element, where the kids get together and put on an amateur production of "Hamlet" in front of the person they think is the actual murderer, hoping that watching the play will trigger his guilty conscience and cause him to confess! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had small paper loss at the crossfolds and pretty minor fold wear. It had tiny paper loss in the top left corner and pinholes around the edges. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did little restoration to the defects described above.
