Important Added Info: Note that this group of three Kodalith film cels is the last of an amazing find. We were originally consigned 20 of these, and we auctioned the best ones individually, and then a couple of groups, and now this is the final group of three, and then there are no more, so this is your final chance to purchase any of these! They each measures 12" x 20" and each has a positive image of a cel from the film. If anyone can describe the scene it shows better than we did above, please e-mail us and we will post it here. What is a "Kodalith animation cel"? This was a frame of the movie that was blown up and then a matching animated cel was created, and then layered back over the "live" shot, which resulted in the unique look of this movie, where it appeared that actual human beings were animated (the movie was far ahead of its time!). In 2018, we were consigned an amazing find that came from a man connected with the movie. It consisted of an actual script from the movie (the first draft), plus one composite pair of film negatives (from the same cel, one of the human actors and one of the animation version), as well as one composite color transparency paired with its black & white, one color transparency by itself, and two different positive print animation cels! Since that time, the same man has consigned to us some additional items that are Kodalith animation cels (two are in this auction, in separate auctions), and he has told us that he has a few more left, and then there will be no more from this amazing find!
