Lloyd C. Douglas' Magnificent Obsession, the classic 1954 Douglas Sirk romantic medical doctor melodrama ("The Great Love Story... By the author of 'The Robe'"; "From the notable novel by Lloyd C. Douglas"; "Produced by Ross Hunter"; about a spoiled rich man who inadvertently causes the death of a heroic doctor and later causes his widow to become blind; he becomes a doctor himself, romances the widow and later saves her life!) starring Jane Wyman (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), Rock Hudson, Barbara Rush, Agnes Moorehead, Otto Kruger, Gregg Palmer, and Mae Clarke

Important Added Info: Note that this is an original one-sheet that was used for a re-release of the movie, and some poster exchange stamped the word "RE-RELEASE" in the bottom right corner, in the yellow background below the Universal logo. The restorer did not paint over it, so it can still be seen (although it is a very light stamp). But this is an original 1954 one-sheet with a re-release stamp on it. Please do not bid on this poster unless you have read the above carefully and have looked at our super-sized image!

Condition: very good. The poster had small paper loss at the crossfolds and some separation and a few tiny bits of paper loss in parts of some foldlines. There were some pinholes, creases, smudges, and tears in the borders. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well!
