Surprisingly, Hollywood did not recognize the talents of this beautiful actress for years, because she had a long string of tiny or uncredited roles before she became a star! Some of her movies include: Mogambo (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), The Killers, On the Beach, The Barefoot Contessa, Bhowani Junction, and many others! She was married three times to famous celebrities Mickey Rooney, Artie Shaw, and Frank Sinatra. She also struck a friendship with Ernest Hemingway, who, after witnessing Gardner swim naked in his pool, told his staff "the water is not to be emptied"! She passed away in 1990 at the age of 67 AND Italo Tajo was an Italian actor and operatic bass from the 1930s to the 1980s. Some of his movies include: The Legend of Faust (as Mephistofele), Luica di Lammermoor, and Casa Ricordi. He passed away in 1993 at the age of 77. Important Added Info: This cut album page has been personally autographed (signed) by BOTH Ava Gardner AND Italo Tajo (each person signed one side of the page)! It could be matted with a vintage or repro still and framed together to make a cool display (of course, the new owner would have to choose which side to display!).
