An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) The Catman of Paris, the 1946 Lesley Selander France crime mystery feline cat monster horror thriller (about an author who goes to France at the turn of the century, and as soon as he arrives, savage killings from a "cat-like creature" start, and he has mysterious blackouts that make him an extreme suspect, but all is cleared up at the end of this 60-minute movie!) starring Carl Esmond, Lenore Aubert, Adele Mara, Douglass Dumbrille, Gerald Mohr, Fritz Feld, and Robert J. Wilke (uncredited in the title role as The Catman) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good to very good. There are some creases along the foldlines from the poster being folded off-center at one time. There is approximately 2" of separation at the top crossfold with some tape staining in that area from a tape repair that was at one time on the back of the poster in that area. There is minor separation at the other two crossfolds and there is a 1 1/4" tear in the horizontal fold at right (each repaired with tape from the back). The poster is otherwise in pretty nice condition and its defects are not very distracting and if one chose to have it restored it would look fantastic with little paint restoration needed!
