Date Sold 8/30/2022 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. 4 Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Cards (LCs; measure 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Sporting Goods, the 1928 Malcolm St. Clair silent sports golf mistaken identity romantic screwball comedy (about an inventor who makes a new kind of suit to be worn while playing golf, and he meets a girl who thinks he is rich, and he spends all his money on her, but he is able to sell his suit for a lot of money which gets him out of debt and wins him the girl!) starring Richard Dix, Ford Sterling, Gertrude Olmstead, Philip Strange, and Myrtle Stedman. Note that this movie sounds very similar to Preston Sturges' "Christmas in July" and his "The Palm Beach Story" (it seems like a merge of the two movies). Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: very good. The cards have tiny pinholes around the edges. They are otherwise in pretty nice condition and they have no tape whatsoever on the front or back, and they never have had any restoration of any kind!
