An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

My Best Girl, the 1927 Sam Taylor silent family relationship romantic comedy (from the story "by Kathleen Norris"; Pickford works at a dime store, and meets handsome Buddy Rogers, and she doesn't know he is the son of the owner of the store; based on the story by Kathleen Norris) starring Mary Pickford, (in her last silent movie!) Charles 'Buddy' Rogers, Sunshine Hart, Lucien Littlefield and Carmelita Geraghty. Note that Mary Pickford had specialized in playing much younger than she actually was for many years, and in this movie, she not only was twelve years older than boyfriend Rogers, but she was also three years older than the man who played her father! It is also interesting to note that ten years after the making of this movie, following Pickford's divorce from Douglas Fairbanks Sr., she married Rogers, and they remained married until her death in 1979.

Condition: good. The card has rippling in the right half due to water staining, but the staining is only noticeable from the front around the edges. There is also writing on the back of the top right corner that bleeds through to the front (see our image). Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
