Date Sold 2/25/2018 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. a lot of 34 set reference 8x10 stills from Edison, The Man, the 1940 Clarence Brown historical biographical melodrama sequel ("Spencer Tracy's Greatest Performance"; about the recollections of the famous inventor Thomas Edison; a sequel of sorts to "Young Tom Edison") starring Spencer Tracy (in the title role as Thomas Edison; "His Greatest performance! Thrilling! Dramatic!"), Rita Johnson, Lynne Overman, Charles Coburn, Gene Lockhart, Henry Travers, and Felix Bressart. Note that all of these set reference photos measure 8" x 10". Some of them have a visible clapboard in the image that gives the details about the movie and some do not. The studios would use these images for reference if they needed to shoot additional footage at a later time after the set was taken down.
