Date Sold 2/20/2014 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. 2 Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Cards (LCs; measure 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Little Miss Thoroughbred, the 1938 John Farrow adorable juvenile horse racing gambling melodrama ("From the story by Albert Demond"; about an orphan girl who wants a gambler to adopt her) starring John Litel, Ann Sheridan, Frank McHugh, Janet Chapman (in the title role), and Eric Stanley. Note that Janet Chapman was six years old and she got a big break with the lead part in this movie. But her career never really took off, and after appearing in 15 movies, mostly in tiny roles as children, she retired at the age of 14. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: good to very good. There is some darkening throughout the cards as is typical of "linen" cards from this period, and each has a few small tears and some tattering mostly along the upper edge.
