Punch! $1,000,000 Railroad Equipment Used in this Production"; "Endorsed by the most Prominent Colored People of America as being the greatest picture of its kind."; "Five smashing reels of Thrills! Action!! Punch!!!"; "See the $80,000.00 train wreck in 'The Green Eyed Monster'"; the movie deals with two men in love with one girl and also two railroads competing for the same route; to determine which railroad should be given the route, a race between the two trains is organized, and of course, the man who won the race would also be the one who would win his sweetheart; the producers of the movie claim that over $1,000,000 of railroad equipment was used in the movie and that a climactic train wreck cost over $80,000!; the "Green Eyed Monster" of the title referred to both jealousy, and also one of the trains in the movie) starring Jack Austin, Louise Dunbar, Steve Reynolds, and Robert Stewart. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that there is also a full-color stone litho one-sheet that was made by Norman Studios for this movie. Apparently, Norman Studios made a second two-color text only poster for its releases at that time (similar to the Rotogravure one-sheets that were being made by MGM at the same time). Note that this poster measures 28" x 42" [71 x 107 cm]. Also note that this poster was tri-folded only (which means there is no vertical machine fold) but because it would be more expensive to send flat, it will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: fair to good. The poster is brittle and there is much tattering, tearing, and some paper loss along the foldlines and around the edges. There are some light brown stains scattered throughout the poster from exposure to moisture (mostly along the foldlines and edges). Learn More about condition grades
