An Original Vintage Folded World War II Poster (measures 28" x 40" [71 x 102 cm]) (Learn More) More Production!, the 1942 U.S. World War II (WWII) Home Front production posters ("He's a fighting fool give him the best you've got"; "She's a swell plane - give us more!"; "Kinda give it your personal attention, will you?"; "You knock'em out - we'll knock'em down") produced by the U.S. Government Printing Office/War Production Board. There was a series of posters produced at the same time, each of which have the same title, but all of which have different images and taglines. They were designed to encourage those working in the United States to increase productivity, so that the military would not run out of much needed supplies, especially ammunition and weapons! Artist: Herbert Roese Important Added Info: Note that this is one of a remarkable group of around 100 guaranteed authentic mostly war posters (around 75 war posters, plus 25 others, including political ones) mostly dating from before 1900 through 1945, with 15 from after that date! These were originally acquired by an archive decades ago, and they have been in storage ever since, until they were recently consigned to us. Many of these are the sorts of posters that you can find reproductions of on the Internet, but finding guaranteed originals like these is incredibly difficult (years can go by before these are offered for sale or at auction). This is a very rare opportunity to purchase any of these more than 100 posters! Note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: very good to fine.
