An Original 1962 (from the first Japanese release of this movie) Vintage Theatrical Tri-Folded Japanese "B2" Movie Poster (measures 20" x 28 1/2") (Learn More)

L'Avventura (released in English-speaking countries either under the original title and as "Michelangelo Antonioni's L'Avventura [The Adventure]", and "The Fling"), the classic 1960 Michelangelo Antonioni French/Italian romantic love triangle mystery crime thriller starring Monica Vitti, Gabriele Ferzetti, Lea Massari, Renzo Ricci, Dominique Blanchar, and James Addams. Note that director Antonioni had been making movies for over ten years before this one (mostly shorts and documentaries), but he completely surprised the world with this groundbreaking movie, which moved at an exceptionally slow pace, with little worry about advancing the plot. It had a major influence on movies all over the world during the 1960s.

Important Added Info: This poster was tri-folded only (which means there is no vertical machine fold) but because it would be more expensive to send flat, it will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: good to very good. The poster had a snipe glued to the front of the center of the bottom of the poster and it was roughly removed, causing tiny bits of surface paper loss in the clothing of the man and woman in the background on either side of them and a tiny bit in the man's cheek and neck. The glue from the snipe caused the poster to be rippled in the center of the bottom border. Other than the above (easily touched up by a talented restorer during the linenbacking process), the poster is in pretty nice condition!
