An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Boy Meets Girl, the 1938 Lloyd Bacon Hollywood screenwriter movie-making romantic screwball comedy ("The season's laugh treat!"; "Stage play produced by George Abbott"; about a pair of Hollywood screenwriters who are assigned to write a screenplay for the studio's top cowboy star, whose career has been going downhill lately) starring James Cagney, Pat O'Brien, Marie Wilson, Ralph Bellamy, Frank McHugh, Dick Foran, and Ronald Reagan. Note that this was one of those "inside" Hollywood movies that get made from time to time. The screenwriters are obviously based on Hecht and McArthur, and the studio president is based on Darryl Zanuck! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that there are light water stains in the lower left of the image and across the credits area. There are three small tears in the top left corner of the poster (extending into the "B" of "BOY"), which were repaired with tape from the back. There are three pieces of clear tape on the back of the vertical foldline between the middle and bottom crossfolds, mending separation. The poster is in better condition than the above makes it sound! Its defects are the sort that completely vanish during linenbacking. After linenbacking by a top professional, this poster would look great, and there would be virtually no paint restoration anywhere on it! Condition: good. Learn More about condition grades
