Our consignor purchased this item (and other posters autographed by Herb Jeffries) from a married couple of poster dealers who traveled to western shows for years, and they were friends of Mr. Jeffries, and he signed several items for them. Our consignor has no certificate of authenticity, but he and we believe the signature to be surely authentic.

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had minor wear on the foldlines and some darkening and tiny tears in small parts of the borders. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well!
