Gaslight, the 1944 George Cukor suspense mystery thriller ("Strange drama of a captive sweetheart!"; "M-G-M's thrilling Gaslight"; "Strange drama of a captive sweetheart!"; "Based upon the play by Patrick Hamilton"; nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award; about a woman whose strange husband is trying to make her think she is going insane, and her friend who tries to prevent that from happening) starring Charles Boyer (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Ingrid Bergman (winner of the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), Joseph Cotten, Dame May Whitty, Angela Lansbury (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film; in her first movie role!), Barbara Everest, and Heather Thatcher. Note that there have been many real life cases where someone has tried to make their spouse think they are losing their sanity, and it is commonly referred to as "gaslighting" that person, because of this famous movie with that plot!

Condition: very good. There is a piece of clear tape in the center of the left blank border that was not put there are a restoration purpose. There are some faint smudges around the edges and a small diagonal crease in the top right blank corner. See our super-sized image to get a good sense of the condition of this card. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
