Important Added Info: Note that we are auctioning two similar versions of this poster. They have similar art (but not the same) and we think that this poster postdates the other poster by several years, and we think the earlier one is from the 1930s and that this one is from the 1940s. However, we are only guessing so please, if anyone knows more about either of these posters, please e-mail us and we will post it here. What IS paperbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. Prior to paperbacking, the poster was unfolded. It was likely mounted on paper solely for preservation. The left of the bottom backing paper has acquired some brown dot stains as has the middle left of the backing paper and there are a few tiny brown stains in the middle left of the poster. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to paperbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and no restoration was performed (or the above defects or were acquired after the poster was backed). Learn More about condition grades
