An Original Vintage Theatrical Paperbacked Window Card Movie Poster (WC; measures 14" x 22" [36 x 56 cm]) (Learn More) Skyscraper Souls, the 1932 Edgar Selwyn romantic melodrama ("Reaching halfway to Heaven and halfway to Hell"; adapted from the novel 'Skyscraper' by Faith Baldwin; about a business tycoon who cheats his business partners, as well as both his wife AND his mistress, but he gets his just reward at the end) starring Warren William, Maureen O'Sullivan, Gregory Ratoff, Anita Page, Verree Teasdale, Norman Foster, George Barbier, Jean Hersholt, and Hedda Hopper NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good. Prior to paperbacking, the card had a vertical crease down the right 1 1/2" and the blank top had been trimmed off. There were creases and tears in the top right corner of the image and in the center of the image, extending into the first "R" of "SKYSCRAPER". The entire card had darkened and there were some smudges and scuffs scattered throughout. Overall, the card was in fair to good condition prior to paperbacking. The card was backed by a talented restorer, who replaced the missing blank top and performed some restoration to the above defects, but many of them were left alone, so as to avoid re-painting large sections of the card.
