He started making "Our Gang" comedies when he was four, and he made around 100 of them over the next 11 years. He retired from movies in 1942, and lived a movie-free life, passing away in 1993 at the age of 64. Important Added Info: Note that this REPRODUCTION still has been personally autographed (signed) by Spanky Mcfarland! Our consignor is a decades long collector of comedy related movie paper. Over the years he would attend collectible shows where comedy celebrities appeared (including the child stars who appeared as adults), and he would purchase autographs from them in person. He also collected a few autographs by buying them from collectors or dealers through the mail, but all of them were obtained many years ago, and both he (and we) believe the autograph on this item to surely be authentic.
