An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) The Lonely Trail, the 1936 Joseph Kane Texas cowboy western ("Original story by Bernard McConville") starring John Wayne, Ann Rutherford, Cy Kendall, Fred 'Snowflake' Toones, Sam Flint, Dennis Moore, and Yakima Canutt NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good. The poster had small paper loss at each crossfold and creases, tears, and tiny paper loss in the top and bottom quarter of the vertical foldline, and a lesser amount of wear on the other foldlines. There were pinholes in the corners with tape stains in the top corners. There were a few smudges scattered around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed many years ago, and you can see the restoration when you look at the poster closely, but from any reasonable viewing distance, it looks great (and of course, a talented restorer could perform additional restoration, either with or without re-backing the poster)!
