An Original Vintage Folded Russian Educational Propaganda Poster (measures 19" x 27") (Learn More)

Illiteracy is Blindness (literal translation of the Russian title), the 1920 Russian educational poster (with taglines that translate to "Bad luck and unhappiness waits for him everywhere"; "Books about farming and animals, about raising pigs, about agriculture.") encouraging citizens to learn how to read. Note that this campaign lasted many decades and the poster was re-printed multiple times.

Important Added Info: Note that this poster was folded across the middle at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: good. There are creases throughout as well as some water stains around the edges of the poster.
