The card had its left blank border trimmed off and it had pinholes, stains, and smudges around the edges, with a few in the edges of the image. A talented restorer paperbacked the card onto a light paper backing and replaced the missing blank border and also performed restoration to the defects around the edges, and the card displays pretty well.
