An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Two-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 41" x 54") (Learn More) Birth of a Star, the 1945 Educational Pictures Bud Pollard short subject compilation ("The story of how Hollywood finds it's [sic!] new stars!"; "Your KAYElossal new komedian in the years biggest laugh packed screen scream"; "Hilarious fun for everyone - you'll love it!") including "Dime a Dance", "Cupid Takes a Holiday", and "Getting an Eyeful" starring Danny Kaye, Imogene Coca, Charles Kemper, June Allyson (billed as "June Allison"), Hank Henry, Barry Sullivan, and Sally Starr. Note that this was a "Featurette" compilation of the above three Educational Pictures shorts. It was released in 1945 after Danny Kaye had huge success in 1944's "Up in Arms"! Note that the distributor used the word "new" in the top tagline, trying to mislead people into thinking these were newly created shorts! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
