An Original Vintage 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm] Still (Learn More)

Danny Kaye was a legendary actor, comic, and singer from the 1930s to the 1980s. Some of his movies include: The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (in the title role), The Court Jester, Wonder Man, Skokie, White Christmas, The Man from the Diners' Club. He passed away in 1987 at the age of 76. AND Leo Durocher was an American professional baseball player, manager and coach from the 1920s to the 1970s. He played for the New York Yankees, the Cincinnati Reds, the St. Louis Cardinals, and the Brooklyn Dodgers. He was a four-time World Series champion, and was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1994. He passed away in 1991 at the age of 86.
Important Added Info: Note that this cool U.S. Army photograph was released on 10/24/45 in Hiroshima, Japan, less than three months after the atom bomb was dropped there. It shows "screen and radio star" Danny Kaye with Leo Durocher, the legendary baseball manager, who oddly is identified as "entertainer" (we guess that the U.S. Army photographers were not big baseball fans). They are looking over the ruins.

Condition: very good to fine.
