Jaarbeurs is an exhibition (and the name of a convention center) in Utrecht, the Netherlands. The first Jaarbeurs was held in 1917 and it was a major success from the start, opening up the city of Utrecht as a trade center and giving it an economic boost. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster was never folded. It had some creases in the corners, with a large number of scuffs and creases scattered throughout. They are not all that distracting, but they are somewhat noticeable. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above.
