An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) I Was a Teenage Werewolf, the classic 1957 Gene Fowler Jr. monster horror thriller ("The most amazing motion picture of our time!") starring Michael Landon (in the title role as the werewolf!), Yvonne Lime, Whit Bissell, Tony Marshall, Dawn Richard, and Ken Miller NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Albert Kallis Condition: good to very good. This poster was linenbacked, and it had fairly significant defects which were somewhat repaired during the linenbacking process (we describe both the defects as well as the quality of the restoration below). You should also look at our "super-sized" image of the actual poster (we are the only major auction company we know of that gives accurate detailed pre-restoration information about linenbacked posters to our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). the poster had a piece of tape on the back of the top center. It was 1" wide by 6", meaning it ran into Landon's hair. It discolored the poster very slightly, and there has been some slight touch up to make it blend better. The poster was folded in half an extra time; there were creases, tears, and small areas of paper loss on most of the foldlines; there were pinholes, tears, creases, and tiny areas of paper loss around the edges of the poster; there are some light smudges in the solid red areas, that are still somewhat visible. The poster had lots of minor defects prior to backing, but they were quite nicely restored, and the poster displays nicely! Learn More about condition grades
