The Fast Express, the 1924 William Duncan silent transcontinental railroad train romantic action adventure serial ("Universal Chapter-Play"; "From the short story magazine story 'Crossed Wires' by Courtney Ryley Cooper"; about the building of a transcontinental railroad, and during the course of the serial, Miss Johnson is kidnapped by a masked villain and held at a haunted house!) starring William Duncan, Edith Johnson (William and Edith were real life husband and wife and made several serials together), Harry Carter, John Cossar, Albert J. Smith, and Harry Woods. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
