An Original Vintage Trade Ad Poster (measures 10" x 13" [25 x 33 cm]; 3 pages) (Learn More)

Columbia 1935, the 1935 trade ad featuring portraits of the studio's top stars: Ronald Colman, Grace Moore, Gary Cooper, Claudette Colbert, Joan Bennett, George Raft, Irene Dunne, Edward Arnold, Richard Arlen, Michael Bartlett, Ruth Chatterton, Harry Richman, Ann Sothern, Walter Connolly, Leo Carrillo, Jean Arthur, Peter Lorre, and Pauline Lord. The trade ad is printed on a single 26" x 39 1/4" sheet that folds to 10" x 13", and then has a mailing address area, so that it could be mailed to theaters. As you unfold the brochure, you see more about Columbia movies, and when it is fully opened, it is an almost one-sheet size poster of Columbia's 18 top stars, as listed above.
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
Important Added Info: Note that we have never auctioned this trade ad poster before. It was surely mailed to theaters, and this particular one was sent to the "Opera House" in Alton, New Hampshire. It has the remnants of a tab that was used to hold it shut at the top that reads "COLUMBIA CELEBRATES 15 YEARS OF ACHIEVEMENT 1920-1935".

Condition: very good. The brochure has some minor wear and someone once attached it to a wall with pins, so there are small pinholes around the edges.
