Die Ratten (literally translates to "The Rats"), the 1955 Robert Siodmak German post World War II (WWII) family melodrama (based on the play by Gerhart Hauptmann) starring Maria Schell, Curd Jurgens (billed as "Curt Jurgens"), Heidemarie Hatheyer, Gustav Knuth, Ilse Steppat, and Fritz Remond Jr..
