Henry Aldrich For President, the 1941 Hugh Bennett teen juvenile political comedy sequel ("The Peepul's Choice!"; "A sequel to the Clifford Goldsmith 'Henry Aldrich' stories") starring Jimmy Lydon (in the title role "as Henry Aldrich"; "Meet Jimmy Lydon ...the NEW Henry Aldrich!"), June Preisser, Mary Anderson, Charles Smith, Martha O'Driscoll, and Vaughan Glaser. Note that there had been two earlier Henry Aldrich movies in 1939 and 1941, but with this movie, Jimmy Lydon took over the lead role, and after Charles Smith became his sidekick Dizzy in the next movie, this became a very popular series throughout the early 1940s.
