An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Double-Sided Teaser Thai One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 39 3/4" [69 x 101 cm]) (Learn More) Joker, the 2019 Todd Phillips (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film) DC Comics Batman comic book supervillain action thriller melodrama ("Put on a happy face"; "Based on characters from DC"; nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award) starring Joaquin Phoenix (in the title role as Arthur Fleck/Joker; winner of the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Robert De Niro, Zazie Beetz, Bryan Callen, Shea Whigham, and Dante Pereira-Olson (as a young Bruce Wayne) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this poster, which has a wonderful image that does not appear on domestic U.S. one-sheets has a mystery around it! We originally auctioned this poster as an "international playing card style" U.S. one-sheet. We also have auctioned one that has similar art but has a spelling error in the word "Experience" at the bottom (it was spelled "Experiece"). We were told that the studio saw that spelling error and then printed a corrected version (which is this version being auctioned), and the other poster was recalled, but some examples made it into the hobby. However, we then learned additional information about both posters (the recalled one and this corrected one). As best we can determine, ALL of both styles that have been sold in the hobby originate from Thailand, and we were sent images of a Bangkok theater displaying this poster. Because of both these reasons, we therefore, now think that it is far more likely that both of these posters were printed in Thailand. You might wonder why they are entirely in English. This is not that unusual for some countries. There are many posters from Lebanon and Switzerland that are entirely in English, and closely resemble U.S. one-sheets. While we can't say for certain, PLEASE DO NOT BID ON THIS POSTER UNLESS YOU CAN ACCEPT THAT IT IS VERY POSSIBLE THAT IT WAS PRINTED IN THAILAND, AND IS THEREFORE A "THAI ONE-SHEET". Note that this Thai one-sheet measures 27" x 39 3/4" [69 x 101 cm]. Also note that this is a teaser Thai one-sheet (note the complete lack of credits on the poster). Finally, note that this is a double-sided poster. From the 1990s on, movie posters were often made in double-sided versions (for use in light boxes). If we do not note that a poster is double-sided (as this is), then it is single-sided. Note that the image on the reverse is a mirror image of the image on the front! Condition: very good. The poster has a few light creases scattered in various areas, but they are not very noticeable or distracting, and otherwise it is in pretty nice condition. Learn More about condition grades
