She made many movies in the 1940s, including playing Tess Trueheart in the Dick Tracy series of movies. In 1951, she married handsome actor Robert Sterling, and together, with Leo G. Carroll, they starred in the classic TV adaptation of "Topper". She passed away in 2017 at the age of 94.
