Seitz crime thriller ("Broadway's Dramatic Thunderbolt!"; based on the play by Edward Chodorov; from the story 'The Silver Casket' by Hugh Walpole; about a group of thieves who take advantage of an old woman and slowly try to drive her insane and take over her home) starring Aline MacMahon, Basil Rathbone, Mary Carlisle, Frank Albertson, Dudley Digges, and Doris Lloyd. Note that this movie was re-made in 1951 with the same title and with Ethel Barrymore in the lead role, but this earlier 1935 version is never seen and almost completely forgotten!
