An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Style A One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Affair in Trinidad, the 1952 Vincent Sherman Caribbean romantic love triangle murder crime film noir ("Rita Hayworth is back with her 'Gilda' co-star Glenn Ford"; "'You weren't the first... and you won't be the last!'"; "Don't tell Me I'm just one more!"; "Those 'Gilda' stars again in Affair in Trinidad"; about a nightclub singer and her brother-in-law who try to find her husband's killer) starring Rita Hayworth ("is back!"; "is back with her 'Gilda' co-star"; "She's Back!"), Glenn Ford ("her 'Gilda' man"), Alexander Scourby, Valerie Bettis, Torin Thatcher, and Juanita Moore NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is the "style A" one-sheet for this movie, and yet it is an extremely rare poster! One regularly sees the "style B" one-sheet from this movie, but this poster is almost never offered for sale. Certainly it has an extremely stunning image of Hayworth, which might explain why those who own it are unwilling to part with it! Condition: good. The poster was very slightly trimmed (perhaps 1/8" from either two or four borders. Only blank white paper was affected and it is a total of 1/8" of an inch in each direction. The poster was attached to a wall with tape in each of the four corners and in the center of the top and bottom border and there are tape stains in those areas. There was tiny paper loss at the bottom two crossfolds and someone taped a small piece of paper to the back of those areas with clear tape. There is also clear tape on the back of much of the right half of the bottom foldline, mending small tears and tape on the back of the left 6" of the middle foldline, mending separation in that area. There are marks in Hayworth's arm above her elbow that may be pen marks. Clearly, the poster has a number of defects, as noted above, but it is also true that many of them do not affect the image, and after a simple linenbacking by a talented professional, the poster will look fantastic, and it will only require a small amount of paint restoration within the image area!
