An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded French One-Panel "Grande" Movie Poster (1p; measures 47 1/4" x 63 1/4" [120 x 161 cm]) (Learn More) Occupe-toi D'Amelie (released in English-speaking countries as "Keep an Eye on Amelia"), the 1949 Claude Autant-Lara French romantic love triangle mistaken identity comedy farce (about a beautiful young French woman who lives with a military officer, and a rich man comes to town and gets the mistaken idea that his nephew is going to be married to the French woman) starring Danielle Darrieux (in the title role as Amelia), Jean Desailly, Charles Dechamps, Coco Aslan, Andre Bervil, and Louise Conte NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Roger Jacquier Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare poster. We have never auctioned one with this art by Roger Jacquier in all our years of auctioning (we are also auctioning a different French one-panel poster with art by Cromieres in a separate auction!). Note also that this is a "country of origin" poster for this French movie! Condition: good. The poster has pretty moderate fold and border wear, however, it acquired some extra creases while it was fully folded and it has also acquired a series of horizontal tears scattered in parts of the poster, but many of them are in the borders.
