Note that this film was written by Billy Wilder, Curt Siodmak, Robert Siodmak & Edgar Ulmer and directed by Curt Siodmak, Robert Siodmak, Edgar Ulmer & Fred Zinnemann! EVERY one of those people went to the U.S. and had significant careers. It seems kind of weird that they all got together on ONE movie!
