A 1947 Re-Release Vintage Theatrical Folded Argentinean Movie Poster (measures approximately 29" x 43") (Learn More)

There Goes My Heart, the 1938 Norman Z. McLeod romantic musical comedy ("She tried to laugh off a million dollars!"; "She traded in her money for a man... her caviar for a hamburger... her palace for a park bench. You won't trade anything for the grand fun you'll have living their adventures!"; "A conductor who can't conduct himself with a lady who doesn't care!"; "You need a darned good reason to run away from a million dollars... and here he is"; "She wanted to see life... so she ran out on her fortune. He wanted excitement... so he told his boss to jump in the lake. How was he to know she was taking him for a ride? How was she to know that to him she was just a newspaper headline? It's racy, romping romance... in the happiest laugh-and-love spree you've ever enjoyed!"; "From the original story by Ed. Sullivan"; "A Hal Roach presentation") starring Fredric March, Virginia Bruce, Patsy Kelly, Alan Mowbray, Nancy Carroll, Eugene Pallette, Etienne Girardot, Marjorie Main, Robert Armstrong, and Arthur Lake

Artist: Osvaldo Venturi
Important Added Info: Note that an advanced collector of Argentinean posters tells us that this poster (and other Argentinean posters from Guaranteed Pictures) are not from 1943, but are actually from the mid-to-late 1940s, and that they are re-releases. The date of 1943 comes from the poster but that is actually part of the company's street address! Apparently, Guaranteed Pictures made a deal to re-release several classic movies in the mid 1940s, and they produced posters for those re-releases with great art by the wonderful Argentinean poster artist, Osvaldo Venturi. Please do not bid on this poster thinking that it is a first release from 1943 as it is a 1947 re-release.

Condition: fair. There is much water staining and small areas of paper loss down the left and right of the poster.
