Franklin Cuba silent cockfighting alcohol bootlegging rum runner romantic comedy ("By Nina Wilcox Putnam"; about the daughter of a Cuban bootlegger who meets an American revenue agent, and naturally, they fall in love; she has the odd habit of dressing as a man and sneaking into cockfights!) starring Bebe Daniels, Pat O'Malley, James Gordon, Martha Mattox, and Gertrude Norman. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare poster. We have only auctioned one in all our years of auctioning and that was in 2009! Condition: fair to good. The upper horizontal fold has almost completely separated from the right edge to the lamp at upper left, making the poster quite fragile. It has a very large snipe glued at center. The poster was folded in half an extra time resulting in a light vertical foldline at left and right and there is some small separation along portions of those folds. It has a few creases and tears of varying lengths (generally 1" or less but some are larger) along portions of some edges. The rare poster is mostly "all there" but it is in need of restoration. Certainly a top restorer can repair the defects described above and likely remove the snipe, and after, the poster could display well, but please bear in mind the poster's many defects and the cost of restoration before placing a bid.
