An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Doctor Monica, the 1934 William Keighley female medical doctor infidelity marriage romantic love triangle pregnancy melodrama (based on the play by Maria Morozowicz-Szczepkowska; about a husband who cheats on his obstetrician wife with her friend, and she is put in the extremely uncomfortable position of delivering a baby for her friend that was fathered by her husband!) starring Kay Francis (in the title role as Dr. Monica Brayden), Jean Muir, Warren William, Verree Teasdale, and Emma Dunn NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper items from this movie are incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned three different scene cards (two of which showed Kay Francis, and the last one sold for $1,550, and that card did not show Warren William!), an Argentinean poster, and some stills from this movie (and NO other movie paper of any kind) until we received this third lobby card! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good to very good. There are pinholes, smudges and tiny stains around the edges with tiny paper loss in the middle of the right blank border. The card displays pretty well, but certainly any talented restorer could greatly improve its appearance, and likely be able to remove the smudges and stains chemically. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back! Learn More about condition grades
