Griffith Caribbean Bahamas tropical island romantic melodrama ("Based on a story by Nelson Hayes") starring Madeleine Carroll, Sterling Hayden (billed as "Stirling Hayden"; in his first starring role!), Flora Robson, Leo G. Carroll, Mary Anderson, Cecil Kellaway, and Dorothy Dandridge. Note that the love scenes in this movie got fairly hot and heavy, which could account for why Sterling Hayden and Madeleine Carroll ended up getting married!
