Villa lusts! Villa kills!"; "Swarming, storming, plundering over seething Mexico... The Villistas ride to revenge... Taking the gringo gunrunner with them into one of the hotter hells...."; "Revenge roars across seething Mexico as the Villistas return blow for blow, murder for murder... And a gringo gunrunner gets swept up in the blaze!"; "Screenplay by Robert Towne and Sam Peckinpah"; "Based on the novel 'Pancho Villa' by William Douglas Lansford") starring Yul Brynner (in the title role as Pancho Villa), Robert Mitchum, Grazia Buccella, Herbert Lom, Robert Viharo, and Charles Bronson ("as Fierro"). Note that Sam Peckinpah wrote the original screenplay and was supposed to direct the film, but Yul Brynner didn't like the script (he felt it made his character look like a bad guy). Condition: good to very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and minor fold wear. There was a small area of paper loss in the background in between the words of the tagline above the title and some smudges and small stains in the white background areas. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer linenbacked the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above, but they are really not at all distracting (and any restorer could easily touch them up without re-backing the poster).
