An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) Dashing Thru, the 1926 Frank Merrill silent banking finance action melodrama (about a young man who is sent to another town to make a deal with a banker, but the banker is kidnapped, and the young man must rescue him before there is a run on the bank) starring Frank Merrill, Kathryn McGuire, Jim Mason (billed as "James Mason"), Emily Gerdes, and Harry McCoy. Note that Frank Merrill is best remembered as the fifth screen Tarzan, starring in two Tarzan movies in 1928 and 1929. Also note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have never previously auctioned anything from this movie until we received this glass slide! Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). This slide is the kind that has two panes of glass that are taped together with black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of many older glass slides. We have provided a high quality scan of the image, but we have not taken a photo of the slide, because there would really be very little to see! Condition: very good to fine.
