An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded French One-Panel "Grande" Movie Poster (1p; measures 47" x 62 1/2" [119 x 159 cm]) (Learn More)

Jungle Jim. the circa 1950s stock poster created by Columbia for use for all entries of their "Jungle Jim" series. French theaters would order this poster, which had a large blank rectangle at the bottom. They would either be sent a series of large paper snipes with the titles of specific entries of the series, and they could paste in each snipe as needed, or they would simply hand write in the name of the movie they were showing that day in the bottom area, thus getting many posters for the price of one. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Condition: very good. There are some white tape repairs on the back of crossfolds and parts of some foldlines where there were some separations.
