An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Autographed One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Gents Without Cents, the 1944 Jules White World War II (WWII) romantic musical slapstick comedy short ("Inch by inch!" "Step by step! Laugh by laugh!"; the Stooges get a job at a big war relief show, but when nobody shows up but them and three female performers, they must do the entire show themselves, and they fall in love and honeymoon at Niagara Falls, which gives the Stooges the chance to perform the classic "Niagara Falls" comedy routine) starring The Three Stooges (Curly Howard, Larry Fine, and Moe Howard), Lindsay Bourquin (billed as "Lindsay"), Laverne Thompson (billed as "Laverne"), and Betty Phares (billed as "Betty") NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster has been personally autographed (signed) by Lindsay Bourquin, Laverne Thompson, and Betty Phares! Our consignor was a MAJOR Three Stooges collector, and he must have met these three ladies at conventions, because no one would ever have someone minor in the movie sign this poster if it wasn't in person! Note also that we have NEVER auctioned this incredibly rare poster before (and we have ONLY auctioned three lobby cards for this title and NO other movie paper for it whatsoever!) Condition: good. The poster has many tiny pinholes and stains around the edges with some small tears and tiny paper loss in small parts of the borders. It has some pinholes scattered i the image. Many years ago (likely decades ago) someone performed restoration to the poster by putting tape on back of the crossfolds and 3" of separation at the left edge of the top fold and also small pieces of tape on the back of border tears and some of the pinholes. They then put restoration paint on the front of those areas (see our image). The restoration paint aged differently than the poster, and it is extremely noticeable. If I owned this great (and rare) poster, I would surely have a top professional remove the old tape and restoration paint, and after proper restoration it will display great. However, bear in mind all of the above before bidding on this rare poster. Learn More about condition grades
