An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Italian One-Panel (known in Italy as a "2 Fogli") Movie Poster (1p; measures 39" x 55") (Learn More)

Ostia (literally translates to "Host"), the 1970 Sergio Citti Italian family relationship brothers romantic love triangle crime murder thriller (story and screenplay by Pier Paolo Pasolini & Sergio Citti; an odd story of brothers who run away from their abusive father and takes in a girl who was raped by her father, and the three live together happily until both fall in love with her and that causes great conflict) starring Laurent Terzieff, Franco Citti, Anita Sanders, Ninetto Davoli, and Celestino Compagnoni. It appears this movie was never released in the U.S. If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Important Added Info: Note that this is a rare "country of origin" poster for this Italian movie!

Condition: fair to good. The poster had tiny paper loss at some crossfolds and some tiny creases and bits of surface paper loss on some foldlines. Someone had once taped two large snipes to the middle left of the poster with six pieces of tape, and the snipes were roughly removed, causing six areas of surface paper loss in the middle left of the poster. Overall, the poster was in fair to good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer linenbacked the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above.
