Diamond"; "A Billy 'Some Like It Hot' Wilder production"; winner of the Best Picture Academy Award; a surprisingly downbeat movie about a young unmarried executive at a company who starts rising up when he starts letting married executives use his apartment for extra-marital affairs) starring Jack Lemmon (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Shirley MacLaine (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), Fred MacMurray, Ray Walston, Edie Adams (as Miss Olsen), Naomi Stevens, Hope Holiday, and Jack Kruschen (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film; as Dr. Dreyfuss). Important Added Info: Note that this lobby card has been personally autographed (signed) by BOTH Jack Lemmon AND Shirley MacLaine! This card (and 33 others, which we are auctioning in 33 separate auctions) was consigned to us from the estate of a very longtime lobby card collector, who, for many years, sought out stars at shows and conventions, and he would bring cards from his collection to have them sign. Because they were obtained in person, he does not have any "certificates of authenticity", but we think it is certain that all of the autographs on these cards are authentic, but bear in mind that it does not come with a certificate. Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased (although we prefer they do any "authenticating" while the auction is "live" and before they place a bid) and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. On non-signed items, we give a "lifetime guarantee" on everything we auction, but on signed items, we give the above modified guarantee of 30 days after the auction closes.
