An Original Vintage Theatrical Paperbacked Insert Movie Poster (measures 14" x 36" [36 x 91 cm]) (Learn More) Walt Disney's Fun and Fancy Free, the 1947 William Morgan (he directed the live action sequences) Walt Disney feature length animated animation cartoon ("Full-length musical cartoon feature"; "6 song hits"; "More fun-per-minute than any Disney ever!"; one of the segments was based on an original story by Sinclair Lewis) starring Edgar Bergen & Charlie McCarthy, Dinah Shore, and Luana Patten, and featuring the voices of Pinto Colvig (as Goofy), Walt Disney (as the voice of Mickey Mouse; he is pictured along with Donald Duck, Goofy, and Jiminy Cricket on the posters, and this was the only film that featured all four of those most classic Disney characters), and Clarence Nash (as Donald Duck). Also note that in this film, the Disney characters and Charlie McCarthy were given regular billing, as though they were actual actors! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster has been paperbacked. What is paperbacking? This means the poster was backed onto a light paper backing (acid-free), that is similar in feel to that of the original poster (it means that the poster must be handled carefully, as the backing does not give it much added strength, but it is similar to having an unrestored poster, and yet it has been properly preserved). It is a similar process to linenbacking, except that most collectors use linenbacking for one-sheets and paperbacking for half-sheets, inserts, window cards. What IS paperbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. Prior to paperbacking, the poster had tiny tears and tiny bits of paper loss on parts of the folds, with some extra horizontal folds near the regular ones. There were some tears and paper loss around the edges, including in the bottom right corner. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to paperbacking. The poster was nicely backed and restored, but the paper loss in the bottom right corner affected the last two digits of the NSS number, and the restorer guessed at them, and guessed incorrectly, so those two numbers are wrong (but any restorer could fix them without re-backing the poster), and it displays well.
