New York City: The 51st State, the 1969 poster promoting the platform of the Norman Mailer/Jimmy Breslin candidacy. Mailer topped the ticket as candidate for Mayor, and Breslin, his running mate, sought the office of City Council President. Note that this poster features art of the five boroughs by Abe Gurvin.
